Tough test for Valencia Basket on the Baxi Manresa's court
Valencia Basket men's first team will try to extend their good moment in the Endesa League also away from La Fonteta and will have the difficult challenge of changing their dynamics as a visitor on the Baxi Manresa’s court (Sunday 7, 8:00 p.m., Nou Congost, Movistar Deportes 2) in an acb round 31 game.
A victory could not ensure the presence of Taronja in the Playoff with any combination of results, but adding the 17th win would mean a significant step forward to certify the post-season.
Although the general precedents are favorable to the Taronja squad, which has won in Manresa in nine of the last twelve visits and in the last two, the Bages team's good run at home and its need make them an extremely dangerous rival.
Valencia Basket will have five sidelined players on Sunday. Sam Van Rossom, Klemen Prepelic, Xabi López-Arostegui and Millán Jiménez are still out and Jared Harper (muscular discomfort in his left thigh) joins them. The Cuban power forward Jasiel Rivero, absent last week due to an overload in the calf, has traveled with the expedition and could return if he is registered despite the fact that he has been absent from the training dynamics for most of the week.
Valencia Basket begins this round located in the 8th position of the Endesa League with a record of 16-14.
